When summer draws to a close - in our parts, from half of August - Sweden turns into the colours of its flag. The trees display a glorious yellow foliage in the backdrop of a saturated blue sky. It is the time for berries, mushrooms and thus, the best season for hiking and being in our forests!
We warmly invite you to come and experience our finest offering: a 3-night stay in our cosy hotel and the unforgettable autumn nature around you. Warm, nourishing and pure.
What to do & expect
You will create the opportunity for yourself to truly relax and let the mind slow down.
This is a very important moment. Because when was the last time you allowed yourself to slow down your pace and allowed your feet to wander on their own? Here you can truly take time to immerse in the moment, and in nature.
You enter the wonderful world of Marieke’s kitchen.
Here, both the breakfast and dinner are prepared with love and with the greatest attention to the quality of the ingredients. Marieke focuses on freshly prepared, unprocessed, home-made and locally sourced food. Her kitchen is rich in high-quality animal nutrients (meat, fish and poultry) of which she knows who, where and how it was produced.
You finally experience the hidden gem of Sweden: the Autumn.
The very short, but oh so beautiful autumn is a time of colour, atmosphere and magic. Berries, mushrooms, colour everywhere, fresh air, the first cold nights…
As hiking as the perfect activity here, we recommend day-hikes, short walks in the village and everything in between. Explore the closely surrounding nature also by canoe or mountainbike, which are available for rent at our hotel
But we can also advice you on short day-trips to Dalarna, the east coast or the hidden gems surrounding our little village..
You will feel at home in our rooms.
Our fine rooms offer all you need during your stay. Great beds, warm parquet floors, soft bed linnen, a comfortable bathroom with products from Björk and Berries and beautiful views.
You will indulge yourself in our spa and have the best sleep.
We’re quite proud of our spa. It is a nice place to be.
A wood-burning sauna, where great smelling birch wood and the hot, ticking stove make you forget time.
The cold shower, which provides you the cold surprise afterwards. 6°, fresh water of our town’s springs, in abundance!
A private terrace with a view to the south-west, where you can take in the last sun of the day.
And lastly, the bubble pool, this spacious and decadent warm pool where your body comes to rest and laughter is shared.
You can only have the best sleep afterwards…
Our proposal:
a 3-night stay - no more, no less - in a double room with private bathroom, eco shower products and soft towels
Carefully prepared breakfast included every morning, served at your table always at 8:30
3-course dinner every evening, made with love and almost entirely from locally produced ingredients, always served at 18:00.
Access to canoes, mountainbikes and to our great Spa (extra charges).
Price per person from 4.042 SEK*

We believe that a restaurant should not make compromises when it comes to the origin, quality and sustainable production of all of the ingredients used in the kitchen. The dishes should be truly nourishing for the body and made with love.
We serve uncomplicated and pure dishes, which are mostly animal-based (meat, poultry and fish). For every animal-based product we know very well where, how and by who it was produced.
When you stay with us, you are welcomed in our home and treated as a real guest. We share stories, dreams and laughter.
It is our greatest joy to introduce and share what we love and hold dear, with people who truly enjoy and appreciate it.
